Meet Hannah Morrison, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Compassionate, thoughtful psychiatric care begins with listening.

Choosing a psychiatric provider is a deeply personal decision.

Whether you are seeking care for yourself or your child, you deserve someone who takes the time to understand your story, listens without judgment, and works alongside you to develop a treatment plan that feels thoughtful, realistic, and individualized.

That is the kind of practice Hannah Morrison set out to create.

Hannah is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. At Clarity, she will care for children, adolescents, and adults throughout Kentucky across a wide range of outpatient psychiatric concerns, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, PMDD, binge eating disorder, and related conditions.

Regardless of the diagnosis, Hannah believes every patient deserves the same thing: to feel heard, respected, and understood.

A Collaborative Approach

The best care is built on partnership

Rather than simply telling patients what to do, Hannah believes treatment decisions should be made together. Every recommendation will be based on a careful review of symptoms, medical history, previous treatment experiences, current evidence, safety considerations, and — most importantly — the patient's own goals.

Medication is never viewed as the only answer. Treatment may also include education, healthy routines, sleep optimization, therapy referrals, stress-management strategies, lifestyle recommendations, and practical tools that support long-term emotional wellness.

A Special Interest in ADHD

Helping people understand how their brains work

One of Hannah's greatest professional interests is helping children, adolescents, and adults better understand ADHD.

She recognizes that ADHD extends far beyond difficulty paying attention. It can affect executive functioning, organization, emotional regulation, motivation, relationships, academic performance, career success, and self-confidence.

Whether someone is newly diagnosed or has lived with ADHD for years, Hannah enjoys helping patients understand how their brains work while developing practical strategies that improve everyday life. Medication may be an important part of treatment, but it is rarely the entire treatment plan.

An Environment Designed Around Patients

Calm and conversational, not rushed

Beginning psychiatric care can feel intimidating.

That is why Hannah is creating Clarity Psychiatry & Wellness to feel different. Appointments are being designed to be calm, conversational, and collaborative rather than rushed or transactional.

The office itself is being thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming environment where patients can feel comfortable discussing deeply personal concerns. Every detail — from appointment length to communication style — reflects the belief that patients deserve to feel genuinely cared for.

Outside the Office

Beyond the practice

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and continuing to learn about psychiatry, neuroscience, and evidence-based approaches to mental wellness.

As both a mother and a psychiatric provider, she understands the challenges of balancing work, family, relationships, and personal well-being — and appreciates that mental health is deeply personal.

My goal is never to make decisions for my patients. My goal is to help them understand themselves, understand their options, and feel confident in the decisions we make together. I believe the best psychiatric care happens when people feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported.
